Ronald R. Scott - Firearms & Ballistics

Mission Statement

As the disinterested advocate I will speak for the evidence which cannot speak for iteself,  utilizing generally accepted scientific standards and protocols.

Show you how the evidence, or lack thereof, can best support your position and conversely, where it may hinder it.

Point out the strengths and weaknesses in the opposing party's case.

Inform you of areas to consider for a Daubert Challenge, if any.

Provide consultation and advice and work with full zeal.

Encourage you to take legal steps to prevent surreptitious testing by the opposing party in their attempt to rehabilitate and bolster support for initial opinions.

ASCLD   (American Society of Crime Laboratory Directors)

I operate a private forensic lab and am not associated with police agencies.

Classified military data, confidential plaintiff or defense theory, or any data in my case files shall never be subjected to review by ASCLD personnel for accreditation.

If allowed, this would place me in violation of government confidentiality agreements, and the confidentiality which every client is entitled to.

I voluntarily adhere to the generally accepted standards and protocols put forth by the Association of Firearms and Tool Mark Examiners (AFTE).
